I am a registered homeopath (RSHom) and BACP registered counsellor with MSc in pluralistic counselling and psychotherapy. Although I offer both separately, I am continually learning how a combination of both informs my practice as a homeopathic counsellor or a counselling homeopath! Whether you are coming with a physical complaint or an emotional, mental or behavioural issue, my experience highlights how mental health and physical health are intrinsically connected – we cannot work with one part without considering the other. Together, we can access a variety of evidenced methods to bring wholeness and alignment on all levels of your being.
My early training as a chemist (BSc Hons, MPhil) and over 20 years of clinical experience as a homeopath inform my understanding of each individual body as dynamic energy, coexisting in a wider ecosystem of energies. I bring quantum perspectives, elemental mapping of the periodic table as well as traditional wisdoms including use of chakras, A Course in Miracles and intuitive meditation to support and meet you in our collaborative endeavour.
Clients often remark how I meet them from a heart-centred place and with a capacity for deep listening and awareness. My experience shows that this matters.
Lifestyle and preventative medicine are important aspects of my practice. I can offer practical wellness advice regarding nutrition, fasting, sleep, breathwork, menstrual cycle tracking and how to use homeopathy at home for first aid and acute situations.
Nature inspires and sustains me every day. I am registered with the Climate Psychology Alliance and am actively involved in practices that connect me to our Earth. I offer outdoor sessions in local parks, woodland or coastal areas for those who are keen to be nourished by nature.
Currently a student member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I work within their ethical framework and aim towards full accreditation in due course. I adopt an evidence-based approach as well as my own therapeutic style of relating. With the support of regular supervision and CPD events I am committed to ongoing learning.
